Aviation Deals: After the takeover of Tata Group of Air India, the company has made the biggest deal in the history of aviation (Air India Deal). The company has signed aircraft deals with Boeing and Airbus. After this historic deal, there is a possibility of major changes in the aviation industry of India. After this big order of Air India, the rest of the airlines of the country can place orders for aircraft on a large scale. According to the Center for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), many other Indian airlines can order about 1,000 to 1,200 aircraft in the coming 24 months.
Air India can buy 370 more aircraft
CAPA has said in its report that after the deal of 470 aircraft of Air India, the bad phase of the aviation industry in the country is going to end. Air India officials told after the deal of 470 aircraft that they can think about the option of 370 more aircraft in the coming time. In such a situation, the company can buy a total of 840 aircraft. With this big deal of Air India, India will emerge as a big aviation market in the 21st century. In such a situation, other airlines will also not lag behind in this matter and they will also order more and more aircraft in the coming times. The biggest name in this can be of Indigo.
Indigo can order 300 planes
CAPA has claimed that Indigo, a major airline company in the domestic market, is also trying to expand its aircraft fleet. In such a situation, the company can order a total of 300 aircraft simultaneously. If we talk about the total aircraft in India, then including the aircraft of all the companies, a total of 700 aircraft are operating in the country. Whereas American Airlines of America alone has 935 aircraft. In such a situation, there is a dire need of new aircrafts in India.
Work will have to be done to promote aviation
In order to promote the aviation industry in India, airlines companies will have to pay special attention to the proper operation of flights along with placing aircraft orders. Many aircraft could not be operated in India between 2005 and 2008 due to shortage of crew members. In such a situation, along with the development of airports in the country, airlines will also have to take steps to meet the shortage of pilots and crew members.
