Petrol Diesel Rate: There has been a sharp increase in fuel demand during February, as the consumption of petrol and diesel had increased to double digits in January. According to preliminary data released on Thursday, petrol sales have increased by 18 per cent to 1.22 million tonnes till February 15, compared to 1.04 million tonnes in the same period last year.

After the increase in the number of airplanes and passengers, the demand for jet fuel has also increased in February. It has increased to 2,94,000 tonnes between February 1 and 15. This is 35.6 percent more than February 2021, but 12.8 percent less than February 2020. Month-on-month sales have increased by 4.22 percent. Apart from this, the sale of cooking gas LPG has increased by 4.1 percent to 1.39 million tonnes.
