Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

There is no need to maintain any minimum balance in the account. RuPay Debit Card is given to the account holder. Also, those whose account is opened after August 28, 2018, get accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh with RuPay card. Account holders can also avail an overdraft facility of Rs 10,000. Along with this, the benefits of the government’s schemes directly reach the bank account of the account holders through Direct Benefit Transfer. The government has been helped in removing fake beneficiaries from Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile, so in the past years, in the form of DBT, in the form of Digital India, the country has prepared a permanent and transparent system. The money of 300 schemes is directly reaching the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. So far, with transparency, more than Rs 27 lakh crore has been given to crores of people.
Ayushman Bharat Scheme
The Modi government came up with the Ayushman Bharat scheme so that the poor can get the benefit of better health facilities and get their treatment done in big hospitals. Under this scheme, health insurance of Rs 5 lakh per year is provided to 10 crore families. Most of the poor either die without treatment or they lose some of their lives in getting treatment. Ayushman Bharat has saved crores of poor people from becoming poorer and has saved them from spending Rs.80,000 crores. Under this scheme, free treatment facility has been provided for more than 50 crore countrymen.
Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme
Just before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Modi government has come up with the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to provide relief to small farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides assistance of Rs 6,000 in a year to small farmers so that farmers can buy seeds and fertilizers for themselves. An amount of Rs 2000 is released to the farmers in three installments in a year at an interval of every four months. 11 crore small farmers are being given the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana in the country. And under this scheme, assistance of more than Rs 2.25 lakh crore has been given to small farmers. Among these beneficiaries, there are 3 crore women beneficiaries who have been given Rs 54000 crore from the government. Farmers are now waiting for the 13th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was launched in 2016 with the objective of providing LPG cylinders to women who cook food by burning wood so that they can be protected from smoke-borne diseases. Under the PM Ujjwala scheme, the government provides free gas connections to poor families in rural areas and women holding BPL cards above 18 years of age. The government gives a subsidy of Rs 1600 for taking a connection under the scheme. During the Corona epidemic, the government had provided the facility of free refilling of LPG cylinders thrice to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme and at present the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme are given a subsidy of Rs 200 on LPG cylinders.
Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana
When there was a lockdown in the country due to the Corona epidemic, it was announced to provide 5 kg free food grains to 80 crore people under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana to provide free food grains to the poor. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) launched in difficult times during the COVID-19 crisis, which has provided food security to the poor, needy, poor families, beneficiaries so that these people do not suffer due to non-availability of adequate food grains Ho. This scheme giving free food grains was closed on 31 December 2022. However, since Corona, the government has spent Rs 3.50 lakh crore to provide free food grains under the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana. The government is running the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in a new form. More than 80 crore poor people, who have been getting free food grains under this scheme, will continue to get free food grains under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) for the next one year i.e. till December 2023. From January to December 2023, 81.35 crore poor people will be given free food grains under the Food Security Act, which will cost about Rs 2 lakh crore.
Under NFSA, food grains will be provided free of cost to the poor. Under the National Food Security Act, which guarantees food security, every eligible person was given rice at the rate of Rs.3 per kg and wheat at the rate of Rs.2 per kg and coarse grains at the rate of Re.1 per kg every month. goes. But now more than 81 crore people will be given free ration.
