Adani Enterprises FPO: Adani Group of the country’s richest industrialist Gautam Adani has flatly refused to make any change in the price band of FPOs of Adani Enterprises. Adani Group has issued a statement saying that there has been no change in the scheduled time and price band of the FPO of Adani Enterprises.
After the Hindenburg report came out, there was a big fall in the share prices of Adani Enterprises in the last two trading sessions. In Friday’s trading session, the share price fell 18.52 per cent to Rs 2761.45, which is fixed in the price band of Rs 3112 to Rs 3276 for Adani Enterprises FPO. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the price band of FPO can be reduced.
Adani Group spokesperson said, the FPO of Adani Enterprises Limited is running as per the schedule and announced price band and there is no change in the price band of the FPO. He said that all our stakeholders including bankers and investors have full faith in the FPO. We are very confident about the success of the FPO.
The Adani group said that the Hindenburg report is malicious and fabricated and has been brought with the intention of thwarting the FPO of Adani Enterprises.
However, two days are left for investors to apply for the FPO of Adani Enterprises. Applications can be made in FPO till 31 January 2023. Till Friday, the FPO of Adani Enterprises has been subscribed only one percent on the first day. According to BSE data, bids have come for only 4.7 lakh shares instead of 4.55 crore shares on the first day of FPO of Adani Enterprises. The quota reserved for anchor investors in the FPO of Adani Enterprises has been subscribed. 6000 crores have been received from anchor investors.
