Gavaskar has said that now the Indian team should stop looking towards the left-right combination and should immediately bring Rishabh Pant to the field for the next batsman. At present, left-handed batsman Akshar Patel and right-handed batsman Jaydev Unadkat are at the crease, but Gavaskar says that if anyone is out now, Pant should be sent. Even if two left-handed batsmen (Akshar and Punch) are present at the crease.
