The issue of captaincy was not discussed during the Apex Council meeting of the board on 21 December (Wednesday).
Can get T20 captaincy soon
It may be late for Hardik Pandya to get the ODI captaincy, but T20 captaincy can be found soon. He can be made the full-time captain of Team India in the T20 series to be played against Sri Lanka in January. According to reports, Rohit is also in favor of making Hardik the T20 captain. The BCCI has convinced him in this matter. Hardik captained Team India in T20 on New Zealand, Ireland and West Indies tour.
