Eating late or skipping breakfast can lead to acidity and may put you at risk of gastric cancer in the long run.
The biggest reason for gastric cancer is poor diet and lifestyle. Women are more prone to gastric cancer because they follow the routine mentioned above. Gastric cancer is also known by people in common language as stomach cancer. The problem of gastric cancer in India is more in the southern part and north eastern states. According to the information, the maximum number of cases of gastric cancer are registered in Mizoram. Gastric cancer is the fifth most common cancer in men and the seventh most common cancer in women.

To reduce the risk of gastric cancer, there are some foods that can help a person get relief from this problem. According to several studies, high intake of vitamin C-rich foods including vegetables and fruits can protect people from the risk of gastric cancer. According to a report by the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research, high consumption of non-starchy vegetables and fruits can reduce the risk of gastric cancer to a great extent while salty foods can be a risk factor for gastric cancer.
Do these things to avoid gastric cancer
To prevent stomach cancer, foods rich in avocado, papaya, pumpkin, sweet potato, corn, egg yolk, spinach carotenoid should be consumed.
-Oranges, chilies, strawberries, broccoli, potatoes, capsicum, tomatoes, mangoes are all rich in vitamin C and can protect against gastric cancer.
Vitamin C and carotenoids act as antioxidants which reduce the growth of cancer cells and work to destroy them.
