This announcement has been made by the Government of Chhattisgarh and its benefit will be given to BPL card holders. According to the announcement made by the state government, ration ranging from 15 kg to 135 kg will be given free of cost. Apart from this, 15 kg to 150 kg rice will be given to the priority ration card holders of the state. Earlier, 35 kg rice was given to the state governments.

Two months quota will be available simultaneously

October-November i.e. the quota of rice for two months will be given to the people at once. This will be the harvest of the central government, while rice will also be given by the state government. In such a situation, ration card holders will get 150 kg of rice.
