Millionaires: You must have heard such news many times before that the number of millionaires is increasing in the country. However, now such a report has come which can cause concern. Global consultant Henley & Partners has come out with a report stating that in the year 2022, Russia, China and India have lost the most millionaires so far. That is, the number of millionaires has decreased the fastest in these 3 countries. According to the report, out of these 3 countries, 15,000 millionaires have gone out in Russia, 10,000 in China and 8000 in India.
Although earlier during the Kovid-19 epidemic, a decrease in the number of wealthy people was seen, but there was a significant number of high net worth individuals. High net worth individuals are those who have more than $1 million in wealth.
Millionaires are migrating in large numbers from India but new millionaires are also coming
The report states that the loss of millionaire migration to India is low because the country produces more new millionaires than the outgoing rich. There is also a trend of affluent individuals returning to India and once the standard of living improves in the country, we expect the wealthy to move back in increasing numbers, the report said. It has also been expressed in the report that the number of high net worth individuals in India will increase by 80 percent by the year 2031. Based on this, this country will be one of the fastest growing wealth markets.
Big loss to China
Talking about China, the effect of ban imposed on Huawei 5G in Australia, United Kingdom and America will be seen on this country and this is a big blow for China. According to the report, Huawei was the biggest jewel in the crown of China’s high-tech sector. It was expected to emerge as the world’s largest tech company, but now its deteriorating relations with the US and Australia have become a matter of concern for the long term.
