UGC NET Result 2024 To Be Declared Soon On ugcnet.nta.ac.in, Check Marking Scheme

UGC NET Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the UGC NET 2024 Result on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Lakhs of candidates who appeared for the UGC NET 2024 exam are eagerly awaiting the release of the official results. Once released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards by logging through with their application number and date of birth. The UGC NET answer key was released on September 7, and candidates had until September 14 to submit objections. Experts will address the objections raised on the provisional answer key and a final answer key will be released. 

UGC NET 2024 Result: Steps To Check

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result link.

Step 3: Now enter your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the result.

UGC NET Result June 2024: Detailed Marking Scheme

– Each question carries two marks.
– For each correct response, two marks are awarded.
– No negative marking for incorrect answers.
– No marks are given for unanswered or unattempted questions, or those marked for review.
– Candidates must select one option as the correct answer.
– If a question is found to be incorrect or ambiguous with multiple correct answers, candidates who chose one of the correct options will be awarded marks.
– If a question is deemed incorrect and dropped, two marks will be awarded to all candidates who attempted it, due to either human or technical error. Since there is no negative marking, candidates should choose the nearest correct option.

Candidates should note that there is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of UGC NET results. To pass the UGC NET exam, general category students need to score at least 40% and SC, ST, and OBC candidates need to score at least 35%.
