This research has been done on 30 women
In the research done in the lab, 30 women volunteers have been researched for eight hours each for 3 days. These female volunteers were kept alone for one day and without food for one day. Then they were given food but kept alone. Stress, mood and fatigue were clearly visible in these women. While the cortisol levels of heart beat and saliva were seen to be significantly increased. To carry out this research, 87 participants living in Austria, Italy or Germany were included in it. The COVID-19 lockdown between April and May 2020 was fully considered as the criteria. The participants spent at least eight hours in isolation, and were asked to answer questions via smartphone. Answers had to be given on the app according to the questions asked in the lab test. Due to this, their stress, mood and fatigue were also being measured. Obesity also increases due to loneliness. Also physical damage is more. Due to being socially isolated, the risk of premature death is also very high. And some people prefer to be alone.
