If this happens, then 11 percent DA arrears will be paid to the central employees in one go.

On Navratri, the government has increased the dearness allowance for central employees by 4 percent and it has been increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. This increase has been implemented from July 1, 2022 to February 2023. On which Rs 6591 crore will be spent in a year and Rs 4394.24 crore in 2022-23 from July to February.

The central government is preparing to give another gift to the central employees. The government is also considering increasing the House Rent Allowance after Dearness Allowance.
