This means that this scheme has been extended 7 times. Whereas now it has been extended for 1 year from 1 February 2023.
How much has been spent so far under this scheme
Talking about the expenditure under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Rs 3.91 lakh crore had already been spent in it before the first seven phases. There itself year 2023 In 2015, the expenditure on the scheme is Rs 2 lakh crore, that is, if we talk about the total expenditure, Rs 5.91 lakh crore has been spent under this scheme.
PMAY Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana increased every now and then
PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana was started in April 2020 for 8 months. This scheme was to end in November 2020, but in view of the impact of Kovid, it was extended from May 2021 to March 2022 i.e. for 11 months. After this it was again extended for 8 months. Then this scheme was extended from April 2022 to September 2022. During the seventh phase, it was extended for 3 months from October 2022 to December 2022. At the same time, during this budget, this scheme has been extended for 1 year.
